ABOUT PFS
Phoenix Financial Solutions is owned and operated by Dana Thain.Dana started her business in 1991 on a part-time basis in her home town of Prescott Ontario. In 2003, while living in Peterborough, Dana opened Phoenix Financial Solutions on a full-time basis.
Dana attended both York University and St. Lawrence College, studying Business Administration at both locations. After graduation, Dana had continued her studies, earning her Certified Financial Planner (CFP), Personal Financial Planner (PFP), Certified Investment Manager (CIM) and Fellowship of the Canadian Securities Institute (FCSI).
For 5 years, Dana was teaching the Accounting Program at Sir Sanford Fleming in a Legal Environment and Small Business Strategies. Dana has also earned her Teacher of Adults Certificate.
Currently, Dana is working toward her Paralegal Diploma.
All of these academic pursuits provide Dana with the knowledge to advise clients of the legal, investment and tax consequences and opportunities of operating a small business in Ontario.
